General Manager Sweden, Medtech - TILLSATT

About the position - TILLSATT
The company currently employs 20 people and is responsible for the marketing, sales and technical service activities of the high end quality products, mainly CT and Ultrasound. The turnaround in Sweden for 16-17 is around 80-90’ MSEK, with a big opportunity to grow and expand during the coming years by identifying the possibilities.

The near and mid-term business objectives are the following

Short term:
• Complete and stabilize organization
• Increase sales whilst maintaining profitability
• Expand business portfolio (PET CT and MRI)

Midterm:
• Achieve profitable turnover within a 3-year period through organizational rejuvenation and business expansion

The main tasks of the future General Manager are:
• Responsible for creation and realization of agreed annual sales, margin and expenses budgets, i.e. full P&L responsibility
• Responsible for day-to-day operation of the Swedish subsidiary company
• Preparing for and achieving near and mid-term business objectives
• Represent the company towards 3rd parties such as (local) governmental agencies, industry representation bodies, medical societies etc.

The profile of the General Manager is the following:

Job title: General Manager Sweden

Nationality: The candidate will preferably be of Swedish nationality

Location: The position is based in Gothenburg alternatively in Stockholm

Reporting level: The position is reporting to the European Management Team located in the Netherlands

Qualifications: A proven track record in a similar position would be ideal for this position, as well as an engineering degree and/or MBA education level. Valid Swedish driver license.

Languages: Fluent Swedish and a good level of English are mandatory

Professional experience:
• The candidate must have managerial experience in a very competitive area (within medical devices) with a technical content (long-term more complex sales of advanced instruments or similar)
• The candidate must be able to show a very solid track record, both in sales results to hospital and as a manager

Personal characteristics:
• The candidate is a strong leader
• A very good team builder who has instant credibility as such
• He/she is persuasive and encouraging
• A very high capacity to motivate and federate the team - excellent people skills
• Mature and balanced personality
• High work ethic, an ability to work hard with a constant concern for his/her objectives
• He/she is ambitious and has a very healthy drive to succeed as much for him/herself as for the team
• This person is able to operate successfully under pressure; he/she is quick to understand and can take a step back if required
• He/she operates successfully in a large international corporate environment
